This was the time that Figaro and I found a broken, abandoned Unforgettable Bus in a hidden corner of Hammy Hills! When we first came across it, we thought that it was an enormous bush since it was covered by tons of moss. But when I wiped some of the moss away, we found that it was indeed a decently sized Unforgettable Bus that had crashed and been forgotten for at least five years. So naturally, I wanted to re-pear the bus and get it back on its wheels!
We camped out next to the bus for a week. Figaro did most of the mechanical repairs (he knows a lot about machinery and is actually in the process of building a spaceship today) while I did most of the heavy lifting. After running back and forth to the local village to get spare parts a few times (it was quite the workout running up and down the hills), and after painting the bus with a shiny yellow color, we were finally finished!
As we stepped back to admire our work, Rosie (Pineapple Punny) and Gerald (Corn Punny) happened to stop by and look at what we were doing. They were in the middle of a long hike across the hills and Rosie was looking totally pooped (although to be fair I’ve never seen her as anything else but sleepy). She drowsily asked us what we were doing. Looking at her sleepy expression, I suddenly got the bright idea to drive the bus across the Fancy Rubbery Road.
“Wait, are you sure you can drive this?” Fig nervously asked as I settled in the driver’s seat.
“Yep,” I said confidently, starting up the engine. “I’m very qualified.”
