So here I am in this sketch, about ready to venture out on my own to visit Cheyenne. She is another one of my dear Punny Garden friends. She lives at the outer edges of Sandy Dunes and I could not wait to see her again. However, getting around some places in Punny Garden is not as easy as one may think. Twists and turns exist at every corner of every step to make you feel like you’re going in circles. It’s near impossible to get anywhere in a timely fashion. Even if you had a detailed map, you would still be left upside down scratching your head clueless. I don’t know about anyone else but remembering an entire map is not something I excel at. Luckily, my best friend Figaro told me about a bus ride and said it would be unforgettable.
I made my way to the local bus stop and joined a group of Punnies who were waiting for the bus as well. It certainly was the nicest bus stop I had ever seen and looked very modern by Punny standards. The soft yellow lights from the canopy blanketed in warm aura us as we waited to be picked up. Soon enough, the bus came, and I excitedly followed the group into the front of the bus, and before I knew it, I followed everyone back out again to the bus stop. The bus diligently rolled away to service the next group of waiting citizens, and I was left completely bewildered.
“Wait a second, what just happened here?” I remembered asking aloud. A stern-looking corn Punny answered right away and said, “However do you mean?”
“I was hoping the bus will get me to my friend quicker than I can get there on my own two feet,” I explained. The corn Punny was very kind and continued to explain to me what kind of bus we just got on and off. I learned that its name was actually the Unforgettable Bus and with a bit of education from my new friend, I was left nearly speechless. “Wow, that’s really Unbelievable!” I exclaimed rubbing my chin in disbelief. “No, my dear, it’s Unforgettable,” the corn Punny repeated, making sure I got the name right.
With an Unforgettable Bus Ride, you don’t just sit and travel to places on it. There’s a special service anyone can take advantage of: the Unforgettable Service. Once the bus engineer activates this service, passengers simply take a brief walk through the entire bus and out its door. By doing this, you instantly are able to recall any memory that you may have forgotten. Not only that, it also makes that memory stronger and clearer as if you have been familiar with it for years. The corn Punny was there to remember the entire encyclopedia and was up to “q”.
There was also the Pineapple Punny who was there to remember the silly dreams she had forgotten the moment she woke up. She’s actually a fantasy fictional writer and dreams these wonderful stories when she sleeps. Some Punny parents even take their kids on an Unforgettable Bus ride to help them with school work. Homework becomes especially easy if you can simply remember everything! Hop on the bus and hop out to become an instant Pinestein!
As it turned out, the Unforgettable bus also worked on me. Shortly after walking off the bus, I started to remember not only the entire local travel map, but I was also able to figure out the most efficient path to Cheyenne’s place. On that same day, I made it there in time to have a sandy lunch with her.
