Torn to smithereens and poked by mountains of thorns on the infamous Cactus Climb! Just kidding. If I remember correctly, these cactus thorns were not the least bit sharp or even being the spikiest cactus climb ever. In fact, they were pretty well-rounded at the ends. There’s nothing terrifying about them at all, as I have learned, which definitely calmed my mind as I had to climb all the way to the very top.
Have you ever been poked by cactus thorns? It’s not a habit I would like to encourage… unless you’re in the business of finding the sharpest needle ever! Luckily, the enormous thorns here served as easy stepping platforms where we made our way up to see good old Pearker, our prickly pear Punny friend. For some reason he is really pear-tial to these desert plants and loves to live atop them. Maybe that’s why he created the fruits to do as such.
Pearker has the best tea of anywhere in Echo Quartz Desert! It’s made from fresh turtle-shell green flower petals grown from these same giant cacti. The aromas inside his flower dwelling are splendid! A single cup of his freshly brewed tea will give you enough energy to run for MILES (Fig once swam across the entire Prism Root Lake and back in an hour after drinking some!). Just one sip of this tea made me faster than my hamster running on her favorite yellow wheel!
